Some of you know I work with The Pitch Film Fund – short films based (however loosely) on Bible stories. I made one, Promise, which received kind words from Mark Romanek.
Other Pitch filmmakers include Aurora Fernley (Pulsar, 2m views on Youtube) and Harry Lighton (Leash, selected for LFF). Anyway, we’re looking to increase our production fund and possibly make an anthology movie. To do that we’re doing some research into how filmmakers see certain Bible passages – whether they work as inspiration or are off-putting, what the creative possibilities are.
